Coach to Wrist for Claude
Coach to Wrist is a coaching platform: coaches build structured workouts, athletes run them on their smartwatch and the results come back automatically. The Claude connector lets you build workouts in conversation and analyse your own training sessions.
Who it's for
- Coaches plan sessions for the athletes they follow: Claude drafts the workout, and you save it to your library or put it on an athlete's calendar.
- Athletes can also train on their own, with or without a coach: Claude drafts the workout and it goes to your own calendar, ready to run on your watch or phone.
What you can do
- Build workouts by describing them. Ask Claude for a session (intervals, strength, hybrid, ergometer) and it creates a draft in your Coach to Wrist account. Nothing is saved until you open the link Claude gives you and confirm the draft in the app, where you can add it to your library or to the calendar. If you mention a day ("for tomorrow", "on Thursday"), the confirmation page opens on the calendar with that day already selected. The calendar works by day: a time of day isn't stored.
- Analyse your own training. If you allow it, Claude can read the sessions you completed (results block by block, heart rate, RPE, readiness) to spot trends or prepare your next week. It only ever reads your own data, never your athletes' data, even if you are a coach.
Requirements
- A Claude plan that supports connectors.
- A Coach to Wrist account. If you don't have one, you can create it while connecting, as a coach or as an athlete, at no cost during the beta.
Connect
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, find Coach to Wrist and select Connect.
- Sign in to Coach to Wrist with Google or with your email and password, or create a new account. A new account asks whether you will use Coach to Wrist as a coach or as an athlete, and for your date of birth; you complete the rest of your profile the next time you open the app.
- Review the authorization screen. The tick box Analysis of your workouts is optional: without it, Claude can only create workout drafts.
- Select Approve: you are taken back to Claude, connected.
If you sign up with email, confirm your address from the email we send you within 10 minutes, on the same device. If the link expires, go back to Claude and select Connect again.

Example prompts
Create a running session for tomorrow: 15 minutes warm-up, 6 × 800 m at 3:50/km with 2 minutes of rest, 10 minutes cool-down.
Build a full-body strength workout: 4 sets of 6 back squats at 80 kg, 3 sets of 10 push-ups, then a 12-minute AMRAP of burpees and kettlebell swings.
Look at my sessions from the last four weeks: how did my heart rate on the intervals change?
Summarise my last workout: which blocks did I finish under the planned target?
Your data
- Claude can read your training data only after you tick the consent box when connecting, or turn it on in the app under Profile → My data with AI assistants. You can withdraw it there at any time.
- The connector never exposes other athletes' data, your name, email, date of birth or raw sensor series. Every read is logged.
- Sharing is not available to users under 14.
- Full details are in the Privacy Policy (section 3a).
Disconnect
Disconnect Coach to Wrist from Claude's connector settings to remove Claude's access. To stop Claude from reading your training data while staying connected, withdraw the consent from your Profile in the app. To have the authorization removed on our side as well, write to support.
Troubleshooting
- "The connection has expired": the sign-in took longer than 10 minutes. Go back to Claude and select Connect again; you won't have to create the account a second time.
- Claude says your training data is unavailable: the sharing consent is off, or the date of birth is missing from your Profile.
- A draft link no longer opens: drafts expire if they are not confirmed. Ask Claude to create it again.
